Session 1
I find myself on a strange new world and join up with a group of local mercenaries.
-5 major mercenary groups on this continent/world
-Raven's Nest building a new outpost and trying to hire new mercenaries
-Crash landed in my pod in front of the fort
-Tense situation standing off with Zultorprimarily, he thinks I'm a dragon
-Raven's Nest representative, Sergeant Rellen came out and told us to fall in line
-Not at all perturbed that I fell from the sky, told us that we must conquer their dungeon to join Raven's Nest, as is tradition
-Varisshit talking the representative in druidic to someone I can't see
-5 pieces of a story inside the dungeon, must find all 5 pieces and recount the story to the Sergeant. Story only has 4 parts, if we recount the wrong story, nobody will be accepted.
-Found a stone tablet, started exploring, Skeleton trap, dancing scimitar on another stone tablet
-Found a frog that was clearly not a frog amongst a bunch of unbound manuscripts
-Found two interesting manuscripts, the writing seems to be of very high quality
-Varis tried to take the frog with him but it transformed in to a centipede and escaped as we tried to leave the room
-Bathhouse/hottub room with some steam mephits
-Friendly mimic, Zultor fed it 5 gold and it spit out loaded dice
-Found a 3rd stone tablet
-Killed a couple other skeletons, Varis used the pedestal traps they were on to try and pulverize the bones he was collecting, lost most of the bones in the process
-Found the entire story, on our way out ran in to a small minotaur, who fled further into the dungeon after telling us to go away
-Decided to pursue the minotaur, found him in a central room and during a somewhat tense standoff, his big brother jumped down from a 2nd story
-The big one seemed to scold the little one for a bit, and then shrunk him down and turned him to stone, giving the resulting statue to Zultor, who seemed disinterested and went to throw it away, when Solaintervened and took it.
-Had a discussion with Sola over which part of the story was false, he thought "Hero" while I thought "Mortal"
-Our discussion was interrupted by Sergeant Rellen who said we passed the test and were now officially mercenaries.
