Session 4

-Discovered that one of the Crypods wasn't empty. Apparently someone was trapped in it shortly before we stole the ship.

-Decided to release the poor fool.

-Cian set our course for a habitable system nearby

-Dr. Hermes picked up some sort of signal coming towards us from Morta, but still quite distant

-Able to ascertain that it's most likely an unmanned probe, sending out some sort of repeating machine code signal

-Entered a section of turbulent space/astral winds, and got contacted by some sort of entity that said it was seeking understanding of life and asked for our consent

-We consented, and were transported to a flashback of a moment on Morta where the Immortal King's generals turned against him to try and end his crusade against the dragons

-We first fought to keep the generals out, and then the perspective switched and we fought as the generals against the Immortal King, who unleashed a firestorm that killed everything and everyone

-Dr. Hermes revealed that he was a contemporary of the Immortal King and had prolonged his life with cybernetics, he's over 500 years old

-Afterwards, we decided to reverse course and intercept the probe, which was sending some sort of signal causing our engine to start to overload

-We successfully jammed the signal and captured the probe, bringing it on board to see what could be salvaged

-Set course for a large popular space station that is often used as a hub for mercenaries to look for work and possibly drydock the ship so we could make sure there weren't any other hidden subroutines or backdoors
